Emily von Essen is a wonderful 2 year old German Shepherd. Every day she hopes that a volunteer will come to walk her so that she can show how she needs very little leash training. Once outside the rescue, she delights in feeling the sun on her fur while she sniffs the grass and trees. Her happy disposition welcomes everyone who greets her. Chilling with her humans is one of her favorite pastimes; she will lick your hand just to get your attention. Confident Emily is usually tolerant with other dogs though occasionally gets a little pushy. In canine playgroups she will check out the other dogs and then opt to hang out with the closest human.
